Angle measure is used in many pforfessions. For example, piolots use an angle measure known as teh heading of an airplane to navigate safely through teh skies.
a right triangle is a triangle with a 90 degree angle in it.

acute angle: angle measure is less then 90 degrees.

obtuse angle: angle whose measure is greater then 90 degrees and less then 180.


Angle Congruence Postulate: If two angles have the same measure, then they are congruent. If two angles are congruent, then they have the same measure.

Complementary angles: two angles that add up to 90 degrees


Angle Addition: If point S is the interior of angle PQR then the measure of angle PQS + the measure of angle SQR = measure of angle PQR
Supplementary angles: two angles whose sum add up to 180 degrees

Linear Pair Property: If two angles form a linear pair, then they are supplementary.
Measure of an angle 1.3.1: Between 0 degrees and 180, distance between two rays in an angle
Postulates: (or axioms): rules that are accepted without proof.
Complementary angles- 2 angles that makes 90 degree angle. Each angle is called the complement of the other.
Supplementary angles- 2 angels that make a 180 degree angle. Each angle is called the supplement of the other.
